COMMUNITY ACTIVISM

Delta Beta Lambda Fraternity service mission is to uniquely design programs to improve the understanding of and to gain better access to, technology in the areas of gaming, communication, science and math education for DEPRITECH youth.

Delta Beta Lambda Fraternity Inc seeks the following objectives: (1) to provide access to the new technologies in ways that enable DEPRITECH youths to become active producers rather than passive users, (2) to use the new technologies to improve the dialogue between technology companies and low-income youth, (3) to help low-income youths to exploit the entrepreneurial and educational potential of information technologies, (4) to develop approaches to education that take advantage of the educational capabilities of the gaming and computer technologies, and (5) to promote the computers, gaming platforms and game development applications that foster educational development.
